Our Special Catholic Character

St Joseph
Heart of Service Award

We are honoured to have St Joseph as our patron saint. St Joseph’s story reminds us that greatness is found in faith, service, and love.

Each year, we celebrate St Joseph’s Feast Day, honouring him as our protector and role model.

We also have a special award in his name. The Saint Joseph Heart of Service Award, and it is the most prestigious recognition given out during our term, celebrating students who embody the spirit of compassionate action and genuine global citizenship just like St Joseph.

This is not just an award for volunteer hours; it is a recognition of students who authentically live our core values by actively making a tangible, positive difference in the world around them.

What Defines a “Heart of Service”?

Recipients of this special award consistently:

  • Live Our Core Values:
They demonstrate the principles that guide our community in their everyday actions and service.
  • Show Genuine Compassion:
Their service is driven by a sincere desire to help others, not merely to fulfil a requirement.
  • Make a Difference:
They engage in efforts — whether local or global — that lead to positive change in the lives of others and the environment.
  • Embody Global Citizenship:
They look beyond themselves and their immediate community, showing a genuine heart for the world and the well-being of all people.
